Jesus Baptism

"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, every one whom the Lord our God calls to him." - Acts 2:38

Baptism is the basis for the whole Christian life. It is a gateway that is opened for the Holy Spirit to come into our lives and sanctify us through the waters of regeneration. This door gives us the opportunity to share in the other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God. We are incorporated into the Body of Christ, the Church and become sharers in her mission.

Infant baptisms can be arranged by contacting eight weeks in advance. Preparation for receiving Baptism for Adults are arranged through the RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults).
